Reminder to RFMS Families: Thursday 3/12 and Friday 3/13 are early release days at 12:15pm.

Tonight our girls basketball team takes the court in the State Semi-Finals as they face off against Rim Country Middle School. These athletes have worked hard all season and continue to represent RFMS with determination, teamwork, and Colt pride.
Let’s wish our RFMS Colts the best of luck as they compete tonight! We are proud of our green and yellow and can’t wait to see them give it their all. Go Colts! 💚💛🏀 #RFMSColts

Our VEX Robotics team has worked hard all season, and now we’re heading to the US Open! To help cover our travel expenses, we’re hosting a school-wide Dodgeball Day on March 6.
The Details:
When: Tomorrow, Friday - March 6
Play: $3 entry fee (Optional)
Eat: Concessions available for purchase
Watch: The day ends with a Staff vs. Student match!
Don’t want to play? No problem! Come hang out, grab some snacks, and cheer on your favorite teams. All proceeds go directly toward our competition travel costs.

Congratulations to our varsity Girls' Basketball team for making the CAA playoffs. Today, 3/3, RFMS hosts Odyssey at 5:00 pm. CAA playoff games have an entrance fee: $5 for adults, $2 for students, and children 5 years old and under are free. It will be cash only.

Reminder that tomorrow Wednesday, February 25th is early dismissal for students at 12:15pm.
Un recordatorio de que tendremos un salida temprano de la escuela mañana el 25 de Febrero a las 12:15pm.
Transportation will be using alternative routes at dismissal. We anticipate a delayed drop off time for many buses. We thank you for your patience as we ensure our students all get home safely.
Due to an accident, the I-10 is closed. We are currently assessing the situation to determine how or if it will impact transportation at dismissal. We will provide an update as the impact on dismissal becomes more clear.
Ruth Fisher Middle School is proud to announce that we are the Champions of the Prodigy State Challenge! 🏆
We faced strong competition, but our students rose to the occasion and showed incredible determination. A total of 505 students participated, with 56 students answering over 100 questions each. As a campus, we answered an outstanding 19,433 questions correctly during the competition!
A special thank you to Ms. Goulette for guiding our campus through the challenge and supporting our students every step of the way. Students, we are so proud of your hard work, perseverance, and commitment to learning.
This achievement highlights our continued growth, as we move students forward and reach new academic goals together.

RFMS Varsity Girls' Basketball game against Odyssey scheduled for today (2/19/26) has been cancelled. The team will still have practice after school.
The District Benchmark Tests start tomorrow (02/17/26). Attendance is critical. Please remind your students to give their best effort and to get plenty of rest.
