Today, January 23rd , the SMUSD 3rd through 8th grade competitive robotics teams are hosting a fundraising night at Panda Express on Watson Rd. from 8:30 AM until midnight. 20% of all sales will go directly back to the elementary and middle school competitive robotics teams to help pay for materials and competition fees. Last night’s Ruth Fisher Colts McTeacher Night was a huge success! Our teachers had an amazing time visiting with our students, parents, and community members. There were lots of laughs, great conversations, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces come out to support our school.

Our amazing Lady Colts Basketball Team had an unforgettable experience this Saturday as they traveled to Arizona State University to watch the ASU Women’s Basketball Team in action! The girls were invited down on the court, giving them a firsthand look at what competing in college athletics can be like and inspiring them to dream big about their futures.
A huge thank you to Coach Nez and Coach Evans for organizing this incredible trip and creating such a memorable opportunity for our student-athletes. Experiences like this remind our girls that hard work, dedication, and teamwork can open doors both on and off the court.
