We are excited to officially get our new Band students started next week! On Thursday, October 8, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, we will be hosting our Band Instrument Petting Zoo & Rental Night at Ruth Fisher Middle School.
Students will have the opportunity to try different band instruments and figure out which instrument is the best fit for them before families make a final decision about renting or purchasing.
Please keep in mind that space on certain instruments may be limited. Just like a sports team needs players in different positions, a successful band needs a balance of different instruments. Students are encouraged to try several options, and instrument placement will be based on student success, interest, and the needs of the ensemble.
I strongly encourage families to attend before renting or purchasing an instrument so we can make sure each student is set up for success.
