To ensure the safety and security of all students, Ruth Fisher Middle School issued ID badges today. Students are required to wear their ID badge at all times while on campus. This measure helps us quickly identify students and maintain a safe environment.

Saddle Up Colts for the 1st day of school— RFMS staff is excited to welcome everyone to the 2025-26 school year. Reminder: RFMS gates open at 7:40 am and classes begin at 8:00 am. Parent drop-off and pick-up, please pull forward as far as possible and follow staff directions. RFMS utilizes the entire drop-off area, not just in front of the gate. Cell phones are to be powered off and in backpacks during the school day to maintain a distraction-free learning environment. Students can use the office phone or the classroom phone during the school day. Please don't send your student with gum; we have new carpet and flooring installed in many of our classrooms. Finally, don't forget to review and follow the SMUSD student dress code.
If your student didn't receive their schedule at Meet the Teacher Night, first-period schedules will be posted around campus, and staff will assist them in getting to their first-period class.
RFMS staff can't wait to meet all of our students tomorrow morning!
