Saddle Mountain Unified School District – School Closure Notice Dear SMUSD Staff and Families, Due to heavy rain, flooding, and unsafe weather conditions throughout our community, Saddle Mountain Unified School District will be closed today. The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families is always our number one priority. Given the current weather and road conditions, we believe cancelling school is the safest decision for our community. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of everyone in our district. Please stay safe, take care of one another, and have a wonderful day. Sincerely, Saddle Mountain Unified School District

Due to heavy rain and flooding, Session 1 of developmental preschool at Tartesso and Ruth Fisher will be cancelled. We will continue to provide communication regarding sessions 2 and 3. Thank you for understanding.

Due to flooding we are on a 2 hour late start. Transportation to all schools will be delayed by 2hours this morning. We will continue to provide updates as needed.

We can't wait to see your school spirit!!

Tomorrow = game on 🎉
Color Games officially start tomorrow, and the vibes are about to be way different around campus.
Over the next two weeks, students will have games at lunch, daily challenges, and work toward a big final event — all while supporting our school.
Don’t blink. It goes fast, and you’re gonna want to be part of it.

You Miss A Day, You Miss A Lot!

We saw a big decrease in attendance this week. Please remember the importance of keeping your child in school the whole day.

Are you ready for what’s coming?
Over the next couple of weeks, our campus is about to look, sound, and feel very different — in the best way.
Games, color, energy, and moments students will be talking about long after it’s over.
Get ready… It's almost time. Sept 29 - Oct9

Good afternoon,

Tonight is our end of summer pool party from 5-8pm. Entrance is $5 per person and is cash only. This is a family friendly event so please wear appropriate pool attire.

Due to weather cancellation yesterday, softball tryouts will be today and Tuesday afternoon from 4:15-6pm.

Reminder: Today is Colt's Day 🐎 If at all possible, please allow your student to remain on campus until the end of the day. This time is valuable for your student whether they are enjoying Colt's day activities they have earned or having the chance to get assistance with subjects they may be behind on.

If you are absolutely needing to pick up your student early, please allow extra time as they will be in different locations around campus. Thank you 😊
